1. Acceptance

By browsing this website, requesting a quote or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Grupo Cala (“the Seller”) may update them at any time; the version published on this page when you place your order applies. A Spanish version is available; in case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

2. Handmade products

Equipal furniture is handmade from natural materials (wood, otate cane, leather and textiles). Each piece may vary in tone, grain, texture and dimensions from the photos and from other pieces of the same model. These variations are part of handcrafted work and are not defects. Website images are for illustration.

3. Pricing and quotes

Prices shown on this website are reference retail prices in Mexican pesos (MXN) and may change without notice. Wholesale pricing, USD pricing, customization, applicable taxes, freight and, where applicable, customs clearance are stated in the written quote the Seller sends to the customer. Unless stated otherwise, freight is not included. Each quote is valid for the period indicated in it.

4. Orders and payment

An order is confirmed once the customer accepts the quote and the Seller receives the agreed deposit. The balance is due under the terms stated in the quote, usually before shipment. Available payment methods are shared with your quote.

5. Production and delivery times

Production time depends on model, quantity and customization and is stated in the quote. Times are estimates and may be affected by force majeure, customs inspections or other causes beyond the Seller's control; the customer will be notified promptly.

6. Shipping and customs

Orders to the United States ship by freight. Your quote specifies whether import duties, customs brokerage and fees are included or are the customer's responsibility. On delivery, inspect the shipment, note any visible packaging damage on the delivery receipt and report it via WhatsApp with photos within 48 hours so a claim can be filed.

7. Cancellations and returns

Once production has started, the deposit may be applied to materials and labor already invested. Customized products (names, logos, special sizes or colors) cannot be cancelled or returned except for manufacturing defects. Returns of catalog products must be requested in writing and approved by the Seller; items must be unused and in original packaging, and return freight and any customs costs are paid by the customer unless the item is defective.

8. Warranty

Products carry a 90-day warranty from delivery against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover normal wear, damage from prolonged exposure to rain, snow or direct sun, humidity, misuse, impacts, modifications or lack of maintenance. To make a claim, contact the Seller via WhatsApp with photos and proof of purchase.

9. Invoicing

Invoices are issued with the business details provided by the customer, who is responsible for their accuracy. Send your company details when confirming your order.

10. Intellectual property

Texts, photos, logos and design on this website belong to the Seller or are used with permission and may not be reproduced without written consent. When requesting customization, the customer confirms they have the right to use any names, logos or trademarks provided.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your place of residence.

12. Privacy Notice

Data we collect: name, business name, city, phone number, shipping details and, where applicable, billing details. We do not collect sensitive personal data.

Purposes: responding to quote requests, processing and delivering orders, invoicing, handling warranty claims and, secondarily, sharing product news and offers. You can opt out of secondary uses at any time via WhatsApp.

Sharing: your data is shared only with carriers and customs brokers to deliver your order, and with authorities when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Your rights: you may request access, correction, deletion or opposition to the use of your data, or withdraw consent, by contacting us via WhatsApp at +52 664 586 0064. This website does not store form data on our own servers: quote requests are sent through WhatsApp and are subject to that service's privacy policy.
